The Building Department handles zoning, commercial, and residential inspections for the city. Office operating hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Permits

New construction, additions, renovation or repair to any residential or commercial structure including the following:
• Roofing
• Electrical, Plumbing, Gas & Mechanical
• Decks
• Pools
• Mobile home set-up
• Sheds or accessory structures
• Fences
• Retaining Walls

All plans must be reviewed before a building permit will be issued.

No work may be legally performed without a permit. Emergency repairs may apply for permits on the following business day.

Complete and return to us with payment and we will issue permits upon approval.

Business Licenses

A license is required for any business, trade, occupation, vocation, profession conducted in the city & our jurisdiction. You may print an application on our forms page.
